Mahaila Bastedo

With nearly a decade of experience in the medical field, Mahaila is proud to be our Director of Occupational Health, where she is passionate about ensuring patients receive the care and resources they need to live healthy, productive lives. A graduate of Ross Medical Education Center in Flint, Michigan, she began her career as a medical assistant and has since dedicated herself to the evolving needs of occupational health.

Coming from a family of movers, she has a deep, personal understanding of the physical demands many workers face—and how essential accessible, comprehensive care is in supporting their well-being. Whether coordinating services or connecting patients with resources tailored to their lifestyle, Mahaila brings compassion, dedication, and a patient-centered approach to her role.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, spending time with her Pomsky Lilith and Cat Cletus. She embraces life’s adventures with her husband. Her commitment to both her profession and her personal life reflects the balance she encourages in the health journeys of the individuals she serves.
