Lori Nugent - PA-C
Hello! I’m Lori Nugent, and I have been a practicing Physician Assistant for over 22 years. I graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy with a Masters in Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
In the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of settings: primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, emergency department, newborn nursery rounding, hospital rounding, and more! I enjoy getting to know my patients and watching them grow over the years, as well as experience new events in life (i.e. graduation, marriage, grandchildren).
I am proud to be part of the Urgent Care in Sandusky, and excited to offer all types of services including family practice (birth to old age), X-Ray services, splinting/casting, laceration repair (stitches), laboratory studies, COVID testing, sick visits, urgent visits and more! I am DOT certified, Suboxone certified, and certified in ACLS, BLS, ATLS, and PALS. We also offer well child visits and sports physicals.
I have lived in Sandusky for 22 years, and have 4 boys ranging in age from 12 to 17. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a fish!
We love our community, and I am pleased to be able to provide services for all people, regardless of insurance.
