The Health Benefits of Physical Activity
Have you been active today?
Did you know you should have a minimum of 30 minutes per day of physical activity, at least 5 days per week.
Walking is even a good and safe way to get physical activity incorporated into your day.
What does physical activity do?
It lowers your risk for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and even some cancers, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
It also helps improve your sleep, anxiety, lowers your blood pressure, and helps maintain a healthy weight.
