Meet Emalee Prohaska, MSN, FNP-BC

Emalee Prohaska, MSN, FNP-BC
My name is Emalee Prohaska, and I was born and raised in Northern Michigan. Growing up, I spent my summers on the beautiful Tawas Bay at my grandparents’ resort, which helped foster my appreciation for family, community, and the outdoors.
I have worked in healthcare for more than seven years, most recently as a registered nurse at a Level II Trauma Center in Saginaw, Michigan. I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Kirtland Community College and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan–Flint (Go Blue!).
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
When I’m not at work, you can find me reading a good book, watching sports, golfing, or spending quality time with my husband, family, friends, and pets. A fun fact about me is that I used to race front-wheel-drive cars at Whittemore Speedway!
I look forward to meeting you and providing exceptional care during your next visit.
